Children's SUmmer Reading

Join Ms. Izzy our children's librarian to LEVEL UP AT YOUR LIBRARY all summer long at the Hardinsburg Main Branch & Cloverport Branch! 

We have a lot of fun activities planned as well as 

summer reading logs throughout the month of June!

Children can complete and return weekly reading logs to earn prizes!

Readings logs are due weekly to be eligible for the weekly prize drawing:

Week one reading log: Due June 6th

Week two reading log: Dun June 13th

Week three reading log: Due June 20th

Week four reading log: Due June 27th

Final day to turn in reading logs is July 5th

Paper logs are available at the Hardinsburg Main Branch.

There is also a Summer Reading game board for our younger patrons. 

Complete 15 activities on the board for a small prize and complete the whole board for a big prize.

Children's Summer Reading game boards are due July 5th.

LEVEL UP AT YOUR LIBRARY all summer long! We have a lot of amazing programs planned for our adult & teen patrons. For our Summer Reading Challenge you only have to read 20 minutes each day in June or July to win a prize. We also have a Summer Reading Bingo to help you read out of your comfort zone!

Adults & Teens can complete the reading challenge in the 

months of June & July to win prizes.

Completed reading logs are due at the end of the month 

to be eligible for that month's prize.

Our Irvington Branch Library's summer reading theme is Adventuring Thru Kentucky! Come to our summer reading programs every Wednesday in June to participate in activities related to Kentucky. Come learn about the history and fun facts you might not have known about Kentucky.

Reading logs can be picked up at the front desk at our Irvington Branch Library!
